Amiga 1000 Kickstart Again

Has anyone ever used the second socket locations for increasing the Kickstart size?

I wonder if the WCS or WOM needs to be modified or the PAL that is on it.

I have been eye-balling this for a while now. I look to work on this after school is over in May.
