As he's registered to post here, one can reasonably assume sending to laserist21(at)amiga.org will get it to him.

On Aminet in util/arc you'll find the LHA138.RUN file which is a self extracting LHA archive, containing none other than the LHA executable.  8^)

If you mean laser hardware I have had the best luck on ebay. You just need to know what to look for.
A good set of galvos (Cambridge or closed loop GSI)
drivers for the galvos
Red green and blue lasers for full color
and a system to controll it all (I am using Alpha 2000 on PC because I can't get my amiga to work.)
It is a very expensive hobby, but I have the coolest apartment on campus.
If you need product advise I would be happy to help. I have done verry well.
I have an Argon laser (130mW blue or green) $250
A dpss laser (green 20mW) $300
A HeNe laser (30mW red) $150
A pair of cambridge galvos 6810 $10 (retail $600, they where mis-filed)
and the alphalite software w/DAC $150

If you have 1.3 ROMS in your A500, you can transfer files to it from PC via a NULL modem cable and a program called transdisk.  You can get the initial transdisk program over to the amiga via the TYPE command in the WB1.3 CLI

Did you ever get this working?  I'm considering using LSD1000 or the Bytemare cartridge for the Commodore 64, just not sure which is better.  You'd think the Amiga one sounds better, definately has a better interface.  But with the Commodore 64 one, you can output to the user port and possibly control laser shutters to do blanking and such.

Are there hacks to make it do blanking or support aux devices like shutters?

Thanks,

Neofree

No it was a money pit. I bought the software from pangolin for $50, an amiga for another $65, and paid another $125 for a system with the modification and software that I never recieved. I finally opted for an inexpensive PC baised software for under $200 (alpha2000) on ebay and it works great.
If you want to build your own dac circut cellar posted an article a couple years ago called "The Lasr Billboard" which I put together for $50 in parts and the free software availible on there sight. It works but is limited.
I will look for the links and add them to my site within the next couple days.

turn down the volume before entering (it is a little loud)
Good luck,

So it was basically about the modification?  I can handle the modification no problem if that's all it is..

The alpha 2000 looks nice, too bad I probably can't find another one for the same deal...
