Amithlon will not execute elf binaries

Strange problem this one.

Running of the CD Amithlon will execute x86-be binaries perfectly well.

After installation to hard drive (on the same machine), the same x86-be binaries will not execute.

I have Amithlon+BB2+AmihlonUpdate installed, also I am running the latest kernel310.

Any ideas anyone?

It's not against the guidelines AFAIK.

Well, I can't find runelf or anything similarly named either on the hardisk after install nor on the AmihlonCD.

Google comes up with hits relating to PUP.

The s:startup-sequence on the CD is more or less identical to the one on my installed OS.

Could it be the new kernel causing the problem?

I agree.  I am very offended by the signature.
