RMB in ASL-req
« on: February 26, 2003, 11:20:55 AM »
Hi all,

I got OS3.9 installed on two different 1200:s. When I press RMB in a filerequester on the first computer, the window displays the available devices. On the second comp nothing happens, but I want the same functionality. How?

I can't say for sure, being a 3.5 man, but using RMB to show devices sounds like a ReqTools or ReqTools patched ASL requester to me.
The standard ASL filerequester has a menu associated with the RMB, allowing options such as refreshing,  sort ordering etc.

I'm at work, and this is from memory, so I could be wrong, but there should be an ASL preferences editor in SYS:Prefs/

reqtools.library has nothing at all to do with asl.library. If you have a 3 button or wheelmouse, the middle button will show you the drives on the amiga that brings up a menu with the RMB.

Check that both Amigas have identical versions of the ASL library (with "version asl.library").
