Description: I tried for several days to get this thing to work in several A2000s I have....no dice. When I first bought it I noticed a couple of the SMT resistors between some of the small ICs had 'bubbly' solder connections and there was some evidence of heating of the adjacent pcb material. I originally thought this was just some last minute hand-soldering done during manufacture but now think someone must have put the board in backwards prior to my purchase of it. In any case it doesn't work and it's going back. If your Buddha doesn't work and looks like this maybe you have the same issue.

Argus Posts:942 | April 06, 2008, 04:03:41 PM Update: there was actually a problem with the Mach chip on the card that prevented it booting with an A2000...go figure. Anyway, Jens has since fixed the problem and sent me a new card. |
