About five years ago (When I first built my x86 N.L.E system. I sneakily purchased a Non linear Editing card which cost a whopping.......................
£1100 ... just for 1 Card.......
I told the missus I bought it off my brother for £15 !! :-o
I know the question your all thinking ... How'd the hell she not miss £1100. Well ...............
As a truck driver... the company I used to work for only used light weight pallets for their product, which I had to return to them ( I went to the same places) BUT... If there was any Heavy weight pallets then they were no use to them and I was allowed to flog em !!
There used to be a good number of those per week. It was a great little "perk" until the company floated on the stock market ... Then management had to perpetually show a profit to shareholders, eventually stuffing everything up ...As is the general rule for "Floated" companies.
