Title: Dopus Windows - Remove from Collection
Post by: XDelusion on January 25, 2013, 10:21:12 PM
So I was searching my folders using Dopus in Windows. I meant to Open the directory that a file I was searching for was in, but instead I clicked REMOVE FROM COLLECTION by mistake.

OK. So where did my file go? Not in my trash can apparently. If this deletes the files once and for all, then why on God's Earth is this option so close to something a person would use frequently, and why did it not ask me if I wanted to Remove the file for good?

IIRC, a search in DOpus on Windows creates a 'collection' which is a bit like a playlist in iTunes or whatever. The file will still be there but you'd need to either find it and drag it back into the collection, or perform the search again, for it to be listed there.
