There is a good chance that something fried the DVI-part of your Mini.

Know of atleast 2 (includeing mine which was killed by a faulty monitor) having that problem.
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Well, ill try to explain me, my macmini runs ok through vga on the same monitor, but i need to connect it to dvi, theres many kinds of dvi, i just want to know if someone have it connected to a dvi-d monitor.

Differences between dvi http://www.pacificcable.com/DVI_Tutorial.htm

Thanks.

Sure one could use a Mini with DVI-D (everything else is just as good as useing the VGA-adaptor) and yes I had it running that way once upon a time, but if the digital part is broken it's broken ....
