Free: broken/incomplete Commodore A2024 high-res monitor
« on: January 25, 2017, 08:11:50 PM »
I posted this on EAB a few days ago, but figure I might get more (any?) interest here...

Commodore's A2024 monitor allows any Amiga to use 1024x800 or 1024x1024 screen modes.

Several years ago I bought one from a guy in Germany. Unfortunately it arrived damaged. While the outside of the monitor is fine, due to shock the neck of the CRT broke in transit. [I never powered it on, since the damage was obvious from the sound of bits of glass moving around inside when I opened the package.]

I have removed the scan converter board, since I plan to (some day) fit a VGA connector to use it with a normal PC multiscan monitor.

So: A2024 minus scan converter board and hard-wired Amiga video cable. Both PCBs inside (main and CRT neck board) would have been in working order when I received it, but the monitor has been stored for several years. And as I mentioned the CRT is broken anyway.
