The only down-side to a PIV is that it's maximum resolution in 24-bit is now below that of the native resolution of modern LCD panels and at maximum resolution it is quite slow (I dunno if that is the gfx chip, software or Zorro III bus).
That said it is the mutts nuts if you've never had an Amiga with a gfx card, especially if you have a CRT monitor which can do 50Hz.
I had only ever had a PIV before so I naturally assumed all Amiga gfx cards were as easy to use and so tightly coupled with scandoubler.
It wasn't until I saw a friend with a Voodoo3 Mediator that I realised how great they are.
We really need a new gfx card with integrated scandoubler if LCD's keep getting higher native resolutions with terrible down-scaling hardware. (Going off thread a bit)
