I'm not selling the stuff, I was just pointing it out. I think it said it was a Gateway.

Must've come free when they bought Amiga from Gateway.

Actually, it looks a lot like a Gateway branded version of the "Microsoft Basic Mouse."

Yeah... essentially, you'd be bidding on a small sticker, and a large amount of irony.  ;-)

There will be things added over the next few days.

Amiga SDK (for Red hat Linux) - lots of trivia items from the Amiga former offices.

I have 5 Gateway Amiga systems - 128 MB, Gateway EV700 monitor, keyboard, mouse - NO HARD DRIVE -
(most had 10 Gig HD's) will be putting that up soon. Each piece has the Amiga "security sticker".

Gateway and other keyboards w/security stickers,

I have a LOT of software manuals for Windows software - also some CD's with software and/or install stuff.

Naturally Speaking Dragon Software - new in box with Comp USA sticker on it, (179.99).

Revolving plastic office trays used in the Amaiga offices (sorry no sticker) but maybe I should include a copy of the auction recceipt and a COA (Certificate of Authenticity.

I have 4 pallets and 51 boxes of Amiga stuff.

Will be posting some pics of some nice items I've received (and will keep).

The Dell Lassisitude Laptop (Pentium II 400 Mhz),
the Gateway 15" flat screen monitor, the Toshiba laptop running Windows XP professional.

One bizarre item is the "scarecrow" - stuffed with newspaper and a head on a stick that was inserted into the scarecrow. I have no idea who was supposed to be replicated by this item.

I obtained a room full of material from the landlord (Tom - of the Inception Group) of items that weren't up for sale at the James Murphy aucton.

The BOINGED ball posters and the box of 70 or so SDK software.

Also, FREE BOINGED BALL posters to those who send me or PayPal me (rww@realpix.com) $5.55 shipping costs. Items are sent via US Priority Mail w/delivery confirmation in the special USPS poster mailing box.

See item posted on ANN.lu or PayPal, check, MO (payable to Rich Woods).

Poster viewable at http://www.merlanica.us/amigaauction/amigaboinged.jpg

These are absolute MINT (still in the wrapped up shipping method direct from the printer!).

And for those who say I am making money on this - US Priority Mail $3.85 plus .45 for delivery confirmation, around .55 cents for paypal fees, gas, packing materials - left with pretty much nothing.

Hmm, wasn't it around (an) October when this whole mess started to go down?  Standard seasonal decor, maybe with some sort of personal [anti-Gates/Jobs/competition?; internal in-joke lampooning?] touch?  Or is it weirder than that?

Got no idea whom is represented. Remember they got their office locked around Aug 16, 2002. So this wouldn't be a Halloween type of thing.

Even have 2 Christmas wreaths from the office.

And their bulletin board header, and their State of CA official Business License, and their bowling sheet attached to their company bulletin board.

And their In/Out board with names of Amiga officials.

I'll be posting that tommorrow.

I could think of some better things to spend their money on than a bunch of stickers to mark everything in their office "Property of Amiga Inc."  :-x

No wonder the rent didn't get paid.

That's standard practice in businesses to mark their computer and other equipment.

The stickers cost pennies. Their rent was first around $20K and month and their second rental contract was at $15K a month.

BTW - pics of the nice Dell Pentium II 400 MHZ system (with docking port etc) is available at

http://www.merlanica.us/amigaauction/aadell1.jpg

It still has the auction company's sticker on it -this was the 1st item auctioned off- paid $250 for it.

http://www.merlancia.us/amigaauction/aadell2.jpg

This shows the Dell opening screen.

Thanks Amiga guys - decent system for a cheap price.

No it was much earlier than that. Go back and search for Bolton Pecks post on ann.lu. Read that and you will get a feeling of when it started.

You will also note how certain happenings/public announcements corresponds pretty good to some time indications in Mr Pecks post. It explains a lot of the mysterious turns from Amiga back then.
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)
