Actually I live in my own house which is a very modest one, which means not too big or fancy, just an ordinary house with 8 not too big rooms and all my computers are standing in the bedroom, and since I pay all the costs for the house I don't plan on renting an appartment just for my girlfriend, I'm not that rich !!
I used to have another A1200 with 1230 and CV64/3D and X-Surf and so on, I sold that one after I got the PPC one. Now I do need to say something about the PPC machine. It sometimes refuses to boot up, espcially after a reset. Some people say that it generates too much heat, so I installed a so called 'Twin Cooler', a 5,25" thing that I've got also in my pc and there it makes the temperature drop by 15 degrees Celcius. I tried to remove memory from the PPC card so now there's 'only' 64 Mb. The Z4 busboard is now only filled with a Z4¨Powerflyer and I first thought of keeping it for my A4000 but maybe it's better to get a Powerflyer 4000 for that machine. My A4000 desktop is filled with MK3 with scsi and a 68060, Vlab V1.3, Vlab/Motion, Toccata, Picasso IV, so don't think that the Amiga I want to keep is a low end thing. I also have got 3 or 4 working C64's and two 1541's, three external Genlock's for Amiga, an internal Magni Genlock that used to work in a A2000,
a A500 that doesn't recognize a drive, one AMD 1700+ that does most of my everyday work (internet) and a few other low end pc's that I try to sell too. I also have got a 19" monitor and a 17" TFT, but also a Commodore 1940 and a Amiga 1538 and also a very old vga 14' one that really needs to leave my room. Also don't forget our bed, the stereo equipment, my colelction of C64 floppies, my bigger collection of Amiga cdroms, and so on. I can't blame my girlfriend when she says that there's not much room left here, so some things have to leave. That way I hope to have money to expand my A4000 to a tower and so on ...
