It can take an age in Canadian customs, I lost a gearbox in there for about 2 months, and that was only going to the US! (part of that time was in tax mediation, though)

General feedback has been good so far, from more than one person.

I have already asked Royal Mail to look into this but because the value of the transaction was so low (£14.99) Nenad didn't pay extra for insured tracking.  The Royal Mail cannot trace the parcel.  As a gesture of goodwill and a show of faith I have provided Nenad with a full refund.  In future I may insist on using trackable international parcels though and any customers that have problems, please talk to us before you assume the worst about AmigaKit.

AmigaKit.com is new to the Community- it is understandable that Amiga users are cautious because of all the previous unscrupolous individuals out there that have ripped users off in the past.  It will take time to earn trust in this market and it is not at all expected overnight.  However AmigaKit.com will always demonstrate good, fair customer service.

EDIT: A600 has now been returned to AmigaKit- turns out there was some delivery problems, Nenad has repaid for the items and they will be sent out again to him by insured Airmail.

I don't think there's any Amiga turboboard out there that handles more than 256MB ram (BPPC) but the AmiJoe supposedly could take 512MB.

When looking at that there's not reported any chip mem so it's quite obvious something is up.

Anyway, as far as I know the Amiga can theoreticaly take up to 4GB memory so nothing there to stop you from inserting a hole bunch of those 128MB Zorro cards to boost your memory.

So I'd say on a classic Amiga the maximum fastram would be 256MB on BPPC + 7 * 128MB on Zorro = 1152MB memory.

yeah, had the AmiJoe ever really existed in public beyond the proto stage at MetaBOX.  That was really a tragic one, I really wanted one of those cards, but even Dave Haynie couldn't save that one.

as to the 4GB thing, aren't you referring to disk partition size, not RAM?  or is 'memory addressing' and the 4GB limit on OS 3.1 partition sizes the same thing?

I'm not reffering to the the disksize no but I can be mistaking on the exact number as it was some time since I checked up on that. Gut it's not surprizing that the disk for ffs and ram adress have the same max... after all it's just a questiuon of bits right? ;-)
