Modded A1200 Eve Media Box - Internal
Modded A1200 Eve Media Box - Internal
Previous Image | Next Image
Description: Hi Guys,

Me and My Dad chopped up a Home Theatre Hi Fi PC case, Eve Media Box HTPC Case and made new mounting positioning for the A1200 motherboard and made a new back cover for the A1200 and attached it to the case.

I didnt have a Mediator to try and get PCI Expansion on this, but with a USB adapter the front panel USB Smart Card Reader would work.

Standard AGA Graphics on this machine but it was enough to get me through Uni so dont knock AGA!

Sorry for the lack of replies, I have just got back to log into my accounts. I no longer have time for any modding projects and my soon to be wife does not allow me to play with saws and knives any longer.

thank god you said British and not English :P

I have donated this case to a friend along with two A1200 motherboards and an AmigaOne :( I was forbidden to take them with me to my new home. Looks like I have said goodbye to my old Amiga bits n bobs. I did manage to take a CD32 with me though, I sold the other on Ebay with my footpedals and games (got loads for it also).

I would love to hear from anyone who has modded other HiFi (Home Theatre) Cases for their Amiga.

@Amiduffer

And using words like "theatre" makes him look British.

Nice work! It works also for CD-ROM Driver? Just for install AmigaOS 4.0 and your amiga is a PERFECT workplace (or studio, what ever call it)

Very nice job !

Just a question, what's about the power supply (no internal ATX supply) of this A1200 ?

 You realize, using terms like "Hi Fi" makes you show your age.

Knock out the top sheilding and a BlizzPPC / BVision would fit nicely in there.

Good job!

I know what you mean about AGA: I have had an A4000T for a long time now and I've only ever had AGA. I couldn't afford a GFX card until now. (Soon it will come).

And AGA was fine for me (although I didn't have a GFX card, I took advantage of AGA and Scala and a genlock)
