The longer cable you can grab from a Compaq's 1200 (sugestive name) XL or XLO notebook. Easy to find and inexpensive (I got 3 for 10 bucks on Ebay). :-D

The other photo's show what is done to move the harddrive.

The cable was supplied with the Flicker Fixer. But since the supplier knew I was going to be fitting it in a desktop case they might have supplied a longer one. Very thoughtfull!

As for the clock port. I have no intentions on using it. However it is possible to connect a flatcable to the clockport and move the expansion PCB elswhere. I've seen photo's of that done one the web. Since the A1200 is relatively sloooww you get away with this. Don't try this on 100Mhz busses though  :-P

I don't think that's a standard length cable (standard is ~5cm).

How did you mount the HD bracket?  Did you cut the feet off of it and attach it to the RF shield?

Only problem I see is you're covering up the clock port with the HD.  Otherwise, nice mod.
