CED and SASC integration scripts (ARexx)
« on: December 08, 2011, 10:54:45 PM »
There's two scripts in the Extras/CED dir on SASC installs that are supposed to allow compiling and jumping through errors from within CED. I followed the installation instructions but running it from CED as an Rexx command returns an error saying it's not an executable, error which by the way appears on the WB screen, not CED's.
Anyone managed to get this running or it's just for older versions of CED and doesn't work with 4.xx ?

Kinda new here, and hoping this isn't considered thread necromancy, but I was reading the above and the answer suggested itself to me:

It may need the SCRIPT bit set for the scripts to run.   That can be done from the "info" dropdown menu, or "protect #?.ced +s".

I don't have CED installed on my UAE box, and my real boxes aren't set up right now so I can't test (my CED is older anyhow) .. but enabling the script bit may help there.
