Thanks to another donation by DiscreetFX of $500, TeamAROS' EUAE Integration  bounty is now over $2080.  Thanks DiscreetFX!

Besides, it's starting to look like no-one will take on the challenge no matter how much money is put on the table.  

Actually, after DiscreetFX announced they were going to donate $1K, I started to get some feedback on the bounty.  Evilrich was suppost to do this bounty last XMas.  Last I talked to him, he said he wanted to do the bounty but he required sufficient free time for it which had didn't have at the moment.  

Since then, we've about doubled the bounty.  Now interest has finally started beyond Evilrich's interest.

Has TeamAROS considered defining the task a little more? Looking at the bounty, it only states the requirements. Has AROS considered defining the obsticles, and possibley the tasks needed to get the job done?

The orginal bounty was far more general then it's current form.  The current description was haggled over with EvilRich who wanted more specifics on what EUAE integrated with AROS would have to do.  For the most part, we rather have the Dev decide what the best way to do it.  He does have the option in asking the aros-dev ML on input if he is not sure which would be best.

I won't do a news announcement till the bounty's script is fixed ("open" flag is suppost to be "assigned" flag) sometime today. For those who want to know who Richard D. is. :devildance:

Does/will it need an "official" eg. OS 3.x version to run 68k apps and does it have custom chip emulation?

Until someone does the two kickstart bounties, you will need Cloanto's AF cd for OS/kickstart.

Will the 'official' announcement be today?

News submitted to AO and AE as well as Moo.  So it's a question of when the respective Admins approve the story and publish it.

expect it to be available soon as an open bounty. Apparently nothing was done and the person who was assigned on it never contacted anyone for any status. So there you have it....  

Pretty much sums it up.  Very disappointed in this, I would have thought the developer would had at least answered my request for information and told me he was no longer interested.  Once TeamAROS moves to Power2people.org, I may put in a request to modify the terms with mandatory monthly status updates if there isn't active blog.
