Vista Pro
« on: June 02, 2023, 10:35:00 PM »
Hi All, The guy who has loved Amigas since 1988 but can't figure out how to do anything.
Anyone know where I can get a copy of "Vista Pro?" Had it back in the day, but can't seem to
find it now.
Thanks for any help on this,
Brad Hansen

It was released on an Amiga Format cover disk.

Check here, it looks like you can download it: https://amr.abime.net/issue_189_coverdisks

(Haven't tried myself, I already have the disk from back then.)

Edit: Wait, maybe that's not the Pro version, it's just called Vista on the page and in the mag. But I'm almost sure the Pro version was also on some cover disk. Maybe someone else knows.

Best regards,

Niels

You're right, version 3 was on CU Amiga issue 91's (Sep '97) Super CD 14/ cover disk 165. There is also a simple tutorial starting on page 8 in the mag.

I have the original CD, and started to search for the adf of the floppy online, but no joy yet...it must be out there.

Mine is on five disks so it won't all be on a single cover disk. However it is on the CD with with CU Amiga Sept 97. The cover floppy disk appears to be a full version in CU though they must have chopped some out I guess dunno.

So maybe search for the CD on say the EAB search facility and see if you can snag an image of the CD.

Sadly this stuff still carries a copyright so I can't copy mine. Good luck.

Hi. Vista Pro 3 is on CU Amiga coverdisk 164 according to Amiga Magazine Rack. Here's a link to the disk hosted by EAB Turran Server:

The listing in Amiga Magazine Rack doesn't mention Vista in contents but the Super CD 14 from CU Amiga is hosted here:
