A question for Rogue
« on: January 02, 2003, 03:45:02 PM »
Hi,

I was wondering if you could give us any updates on the status of OS4?

I am waiting till the relase of OS4 is near before I order my A1/XE as I have no interest in Linux.

Thank you

Yes that would be interesting to hear. Are you aiming at showing a working and tested OS4 running on an A1 in March? Or will it perhaps even be released then? :-)

I guess it's difficult to say at this time, but please give us a clue about the current status!

Thanks ...
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

Hi,

It's done when it is done comes to mind. :-D

I think there is still a lot of work left to be done on OS4. I think we at least have to wait a few months for it. But as I said before, I have really no clue. So maybe someone can tell teh real status.

It is definately better to write me a mail if you want to know anything. I stumbled over this post by "accident", I don't read the forums except for the headlines on the front page... If you ask for permission, you can also post it here afterwards.

Anyway, keep watching os.amiga.com. I will not post any update since these are easily turned against you.
Look out, I\'ve got a gun

Hmmm..on os.amiga.com...

19th November 2002 - AmigaOS4 is in the final development stages.

So it could actually be fully developed now, but I suppose it will be tested for a few months before release. I'd give it until around June.

March if were lucky at the CeBit show.
