Hei ShawnDude,

thanks for sharing these screenshots and photos. Whoever the C65 goes to, I hope he will be also a fellow from this board so we will have the chance to see more photos. I am really curious what other demos there are. If you have the time, please post more screenshots.

Like kolla, I was very thrilled by the fact to see the Workbench and DeluxePaint on a non-Amiga computer by Commodore. Kind of reminds me of the Apple Lisa with it's MacOS-like operating system.

This unique piece of Commodore history needs to be preserved :).

Just curious, aren't these pretty valuable computers?
The last one I saw sell , sold for a pretty hefty four digit figure.
And there is basically no software to take advantage of the hardware.

Can anyone afford to pay ShawnDude what this thing's worth?

IIRC M.E.S.S. can emulate the C65 to boot screen/ready prompt.

It's funny Commodore cancelled the C65 which had 6 sound channels, blitter, DMA, 256 colour graphics (chunky) in 1990. C65 was probably better than the SNES and cost less than an A500.

No wonder they went bankrupt :biglaugh:
