Would one do away with the other web browser if there is one on the amiga side and other redundant apps?

I never did mess with this, is it even worth bothering with?

Dang, and people complain about Windows and OSx being bloated   :-)

Seriously though, interesting, but daaaamn,... really needs some work. It's little more than a bunch of files thrown together. Not really what Id call a distro as such.
The same content and functionality could be offered for a few hundred meg.

Desperately needs optimising.

The Linux/host side is interesting though. Would be cool to see it get used with a proper distro.

The included development environments/compilers have much more than those 100 MB so I would like to see how you get everything below 100 MB. Added_Components are included for documentation/legal reasons and can be deleted (if you want to). But even then the rest is far above what you mention. And if it is only a "bunch of files thrown together" or not can be discussed. But you are free to do a better one yourself.

Threw it on a fresh out of the package 32 GB USB stick, booted up fine and fiddled with it a bit, wasn't disappointed but didn't really have any reason to keep the install on the media.  I do have a box with AROS running on it anyways (dual boot AROS/Amithlon machine), so I just grabbed AMINUX to fiddle around with.  No slight intended, I did enjoy using it, but had other uses for the space it was eating on my new USB stick.

Rebooted to my usual OS, which saw the USB device as bad and I had to format it.  Hope it was just a bad USB stick.  Fresh out of the package, though.

Maybe your usual OS fails to recognize the partition scheme. If it's Windows, it won't recognize the ext* file systems.

I tried with Amiga Forever 2011 (I think?) and was never able to get a successful install.

I just tried with 2012. It installed fine on one of my computers, but when I tried to boot, it locked up.

I got a chance to use Aminux3. I like it and hope to use it more.
There are some things I am not for sure I like but I bet it will get better.
My clone pc here got a boot error, but my HP machine ran it fine.
You have to save and restart to get past the Wanderer prompt to close all other widows.
I think that is how it went.
Good Job to all involved.

If you make a torrent out of it, I'll happily lend my VPS as seed box until the torrent is self-sustaining. I still have a few hundreds gigs of transfer this month. :)
