Correct me if I''m wrong but I think you can not yet use Nvidia 9xxx series with Gallium in order to get 3D accelerated graphics. Best supported to day are GF 5xxx/6xxx/7xxx series.

Also that requires you to boot AROS in VESA mode since I think the AROS Nvidia driver only support cards up to 6800 or something. This is about to change when deadwood rewrites that driver with stuff from the (Gallium) Noveau-team drivers, then we don't have to boot into VESA mode anymore.

At the best you could use that card today with AROS and boot into VESA mode, but you'd have to wait for 3D.

I want to add that I've been using Aros on a laptop and a netbook for a while now, and both are running in VESA mode. It's perfectly responsive, and while a native chipset driver would probably be better, most people would never notice the difference. It's 24/32bit, full resolution, waaay faster than AGA, games work fine on it, so it's not a turn-off for me to use VESA at all.

I'd suggest installing Aros and just running in VESA mode for a while until the native drivers are written, and in the mean time you still get to try out this cool, free OS.
