Title: Icaros and 68k integration
Post by: OlafS3 on January 20, 2013, 10:56:21 PM
I have created a page showing Icaros and expecially the preinstalled 68k integration (Amibridge with Rom Replacement and Aros 68k)

Hope you like it

I'd be nice to have a list of the legacy programs and game that are running with AmiBridge integration. I have tried California Games I and II, Defenders of the Crown and they are not working. I have tried running them in Legacy Vesa Mode and default view and I only get sound and color patches here and there.

Same case with TVPaint.

I will continue experimenting but I think is time for me to rather use the AmigaForever/AmiBridge configuration.

I have created page with a list of compatible software:

(tested with my own 68k distribution but should work with Icaros too)

Defender of the crown does not work (as most cinemaware games except Wings).

You can use the preinstalled ROMs (Aros Replacement ROMs) or AmigaForever. On my page I have concentrated on what is preinstalled but there is also a description how to integrate AmigaForever in Aros.

TVPaint works and is preinstalled in both Aros Vision and Icaros. In Icaros you must first start "Aros M68k" from Amistart->Amibridge. Then you can start applications by doubleclick.
