I hade a weird loggin experiment.

It always ends that, no further logging and when I exit it screen flashes green and back to OS. System freeses and I'm forced to reboot.

OS3 or OS4?  Is it working after those messages, because it sounds like it might be?

It works after those messages. OS3 machines.

This is what I got on my OS4 machine

(0.000006) [ERR  netsurf] content/fs_backing_store.c:1465 initialise: read control failed InitFailed

It works, starting might b e little slow.

I have never used NetSurf, but I am willing to try.

Hopefully your Amiga has better CPU than 68EC020, it woun't work. It requires OS3.5/9 and at least 32mb ram.

So far my experience with other web browsers is that about half or less or today's modern web sites (forums) will load.

It depens, I think that Odyssey loads 99,99% of pages, but some could say less than half. Netsurf works OK.

What's the general sorta hit and success rate with Netsurf?

I mainly use Netsurf on my OS4 machine (800mhz PPC) and rarely I need to start Odyssey to download something.

Also, does AmiSSL have to be installed with NetSurf? Or does Netsurf have all that stuff built in.
