I can't find a link it's not a news article so not sure it will be on the site.

"The legendary computer from that era (the 80s) has just been repackaged, redesigned and relaunched for the 21st century".

There is more but aricle about other 80's toys that have come back although catalyst for article is C64x.

A couple of nice C64 pics too, something I never thought I would see in a paper in 2011.

Nothing on their website about it ???

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/

Need to nip down the newsagents and check it out there (aint buying the paper, just gonna read it and see if there's CUSA stuff in it, better not be or I'm gonna torch the shop, if the newsagent will let me borrow a match)... :madashell:

Used to buy the record years ago until they stopped doing page 3, it went downhill after that... :(

PS:Me an the squiggles will be tooling up with feather dusters and heading back home to Glasgow if the buggers are printing that claptrap, watch out Daily Record I know where you live and my Da's bigger than your Da... :furious:

PPS: ma Maw's evun wurse an she kin lob a clootie dumpling like naybodies business... ;)

Amazing the traditional sports you have your side of the border

I suppose throwing cloth-wrapped puddings is no more bizarre than cheese rolling.

Hey it used to be a traditional national pass time... :)

When I were just a nipper every year at the Glasgow Fair holidays, on Glesga Green when the shows arrived, all the old wivies use to gather to see who could lob their clootie dumplings the furthest... :)

Always found it odd, as mum would spend the 3 weeks beforehand making the perfect clootie dumpling only to lob it with all her might and end up smashed on the ground some 20 feet away... :D

Still, it never did me any harm even after one old biddies dumpling (who had a real wicked lobbing arm) went astray and scudded me right on me napper...

Life was simpler back then... :)

Ah, I found the ad!  It is in the "personal columns" between the "used lawn mower for sale, no blades, as-is" and "Fifi LaBouche offering a personal massage for 10 quid an hour".
