Description: Bought (and then sold a year later) a 1500 and it had this card inside, can't find any details on the Amiga hardware site, its an evolution 1990, theres the evolution 2000 listed on the aforementioned site but I'm at a loss working out what it is apart from its an scsi hard drive card... thanks! :-D

Chain Posts:1324 | February 02, 2009, 11:42:55 AM I like bootscreen of those evolution controllers |
rkauer Posts:3263 | October 30, 2008, 06:28:33 PM A bit worse than this: this board does not accept RDB disks! You need to prep the HD using only the installer floppy for partitioning and formatting. But it is a SCSI-II controller (albeit slow - it is non-DMA capable), so don't expect stunning transfer speeds. |
Tahoe Posts:971 | October 21, 2008, 08:41:56 PM It's a MacroSystem's Evolution 2000 controller. It indeed is a SCSI controller, nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't adhere to C= guidelines which means it does not work well with anything apart from harddrives. |
