They're quite nice little machines, 200MHz & 16Mb of memory. Dream Key is a disk for the old web browser - unfortunately it's locked into their (discontinued) phone numbers ... it was quite usable with a mouse & keyboard :-)

I had DreamKey 1.5, IIRC in the UK you had a choice of 2 numbers or something, but it had to go through Sega's server.

They came with a 33.6k modem as standard, but in Japan a handful of Ethernet cards were sold (ultra rare now).  They also had a serial port with a proprietary plug, with some games capable of linkup.

There were some very good games, and 50 Es for a working one with some games is about right.

Hasn't there been some new games published in SouthEast Asia?

I've got the 'Blaze' MP3 player/cheat black CD, it works ok.  I've also got Wolfenstein burnt, and it works ok.  I thought any CD burning program should make all ISO images the same (?) I did Wolfenstein on Nero, but it's only one floppies worth :-)

Oh flip ... my DC has decided to just keep resetting itself (cue the blue wiggle going over and over).  Guess I'll be stripping it down again, hope I don't need another one - had this one since '99!

Thanks Cristall, I'll try that!  Stripped it down about a year and a half ago, so I may have introduced this problem by mistake ... had to get all the cat hair out though ;-)

True, for the last year my other half has been using it as an occational CD player, and she tends to use stuff then bury it for a while - I just grab it when I see it ;-)

I found Soul Calibur amazing too.  Dead or Alive 3 on XBox is similarly impressive, especially as it loads the whole game in the background as you're playing and after about 1 hour doesn't access the disk at all!
