You must admit having Firefox on a modern Amiga OS is quite an achievement.

I still remember when Amiga was a leader, not a follower.

(yes I know it's OS4 we're talking about here, but even I will acede that it is Amiga-like)

That's quite possibly the least negative thing you've ever said about OS4. Sir, I believe you are going soft in your old age

That's about it really as people play games on Consoles, which is why full price PC games market is in the toilet and EA will probably give up on it soon at this rate, and the other CPU intensive tasks like rendering complex animations in Maya cover the tiny minority of oct/quad core PC builders.

Epic and ID have already jumped ship and announced that any future titles they do will be aimed at consoles primarily.

@hooligan

Pretty sure since the changes to the code that make this work on Amiga OS 4.1 are being kept close source they can't call it Firefox. Mozilla Foundation would not allow it.

Move = MorphOS 2.5 comes out.

Move = Timberwolf beta for Amiga OS 4.1.

Move = MorphOS Team, your move.

Indeed, good stuff.
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

Will you guys please port/buy/beg/borrow/steal a desktop vidcap tool.  I swear this is the nth Amiga video I have seen that is of the "point the SureShot at the monitor with one hand and work with the other" variety and it's just painful to watch.  1 second in, bam, nope, closed.

So...please :)

You mean like SRec that has been available for over 2 years?

Lazy port. Eg. the toolbar imagery should be using AISS or similar. It doesn't really look like an Amiga app at all.

IT'S ALPHA STILL:whack:...it says in the readme and Rogue mentioned it numerous times that it will be addressed in the next update ..or two

..a bit off topic, but does anyone know if it's possible to buy OS4.1 for AmigaOne anymore?  All I see on Amigakit is OS4.1 for SAM.  They aren't the same, are they?

There'll be differences in the supplied drivers and some under the HAL stuff too I expect.

I bought my copy of OS4.1 for A1XE from amigakit must be, what, 10 months ago now?

yep, they're different so email Amigakit and find out when they get them in stock...I knew you'd eventually cave in tone:)
