@ksk

I kinda have a similiar setup in mind, but as long as we are figuring the "Ultimate AmigaOne" Then lets make it like this:

-Dual G4/1GHz or better (preferably with 2MB of L3 cache)
-2GB RAM
-Radeon9700PRO (AIW model with firewire when it appears)
-SoundBlaster Audigy2
-PCI LVD Ultra160 SCSI
-Two LVD Ultra160 SCSI 120GB drives (stripped for speed)

---> THIS CASE <----
---> THIS MONITOR <---
---> THESE SPEAKERS <---

And of course matching keyboard, mouse.

Oh yeah, and toss in that Matrox RT.X10 Paul was talking about just for fun!

 :-P

Yeah, those cases are pretty cool.  There is a company here in the states that has these as well as some that are similiar to that other one you liked (scroll down the list).

Seems you guys are into fancy cases.

Not necessarily Kay.  I like the simple but elegant cases too.  And the brushed aluminum on a case with nice clean lines usually does that for me as well (notice "The Frozen Case")  It really is kinda plain except the cutouts and the neon light.  I tend to like stuff that matches the other stuff too.

The Dragon cases are really popular, and I don't think you would go wrong with it.

but I just can't justify to myself the ~$400 pricetag for a glorified shoebox

I hear ya man.  That's almost the cost of the AmigaOne SE, lol.  Better try to go with a cheaper case and get the higher spec'd XE to put it in.
