What is the MOST difficult game on Amiga?

The subject says it all!

I think of two games especially: Myth and ALIEN BREED 2! Godamn it! This game had a HUGE potential but Team 17 were high when they tested it!!!

Super Hang On? Well, dig this.
When I had my Atari ST I bought it and one of mybest friends used to FINISH it, using... the MOUSE!!!!!!

So I guess it is not unbeatable!

As for the Alien Breed saga.
Well, AB and ABSE92 are quite manageable. I can go pretty far into the game.
ABTA is playable too but the higher levels would be easier if played with a mate.
As for AB2.... :evil:

Project X SE is quite hard. You do not go past the third level every day, do you?

SOTB is not that easy too...

RoboCop is hard as well, both the arcade and the Ammy conversion. Obviously, you can finish the arcade by feeding the machine your money but there is no point, is there?

Yesh, I remember Daley Thompson's Supertest, had it on my CPC! ;-) My mates and I liked it a lot, moreover it was FAR more playable than Konami's Hypersports...

Risky Woods is hard as hell, indeed. As you said too many enemies ALL the time...
Same thing for Ghosts and Goblins! ;-) Boy, THIS is a classic, isn't it?

Actually, from what I have heard, Dragon's Lair was not that hard. You just have to push the joystick at the RIGHT moment... ;-P

Oh! Another one pops up into my mind...

KATAKIS (or DENARIS)!!!!!! A cool R-Type clone, yes, but barely playable too...

Some more? ;-)

There is a cheat mode for Disposable Hero which adds an extra option in the menu... ;-)

Someone told about Captain Planet but do you remember (Captain) Blood??? Did SOMEONE finish it???!!!

And, as a matter of fact, Psygnosis games WERE difficult, weren't they?

Yeah, Whirligig!
I had it on my ST and was quite good at it.
Then, some times ago I got it on Ammy and... EEEEEKKKKK! I cannot manage to control the damn ship! But I believe it is quite original a game.

And there is another classic I had on ST and was quite good at it, then got it on Ammy and EEEEKKKK!

Space Harrier!
On Atari, I reached the very last boss but did not kill it, will on Ammy, I keep on struggling to go past the first couple of levels. Should try harder I guess...

There is also another game which was incredibly hard, but not on Ammy, on CPC. It was a Mastertronic classic called The Last V8! IIRC, it was released on Speccy and C64 too.
Boy, you had only ONE life to finish the game! Eeek!

And by the way, have someone really finished ANY of the Turricans WITHOUT cheating???

Bloody Hell! I forgot Saint Dragon!!!!!

Boy, THAT is a hard game!!! I managed to go to the third level something like TWO or THREE times?
Too bad, for it is a nice game, I love the music but it seems it is of the weird Sales Curve format... Unrippable :-/

You DID finish all Turricans??!!!! Wow! Hats off!

As for the Disposable Hero cheat mode... Hehehe, I do not remember it, BUT if you use the WHDLoad installer for it, you can access the cheat mode through icon info ;-)

Yes, I remember Conqueror, even if I have never played it.

As for the Last V8... Believe me or not but despite the fact I own more than 545 albums, this sountrack is one of my favourite melodies EVER! Absolutely fantastic!


Hey, what about another thread? What is your favourite Amiga soundtrack? ;-D

As for Myst, even if the game is difficult, I like its atmosphere very much. Looks like a Pink Floyd video ;-)

Although I know this game, I have never played it...

Another game comes to my mind...

Karate Kid 2.
Quite tough, isn't it? The first couple of guys are quite easy to defeat but the other ones are terminators!!!
