A2000 unknown turbo board - advice needed
« on: October 18, 2002, 06:49:10 PM »
Sometimes months go by without anything new to happen. Recently I got two computers from which one is an A2000. I already did a posting about Hardware problems where I got a lot of great advice although I still need to fix something ....
Now when I was searching through my room for my OS 3.1 discs I found something that I can't remember having bought somewhere, so it must have arrived here with the A2000. In that computer there's already an A2630 Rev 9 turboboard with 2 Mb Ram !! Cool !! Now 64 Mb extra and I would feel a lot better !!!  :-D
But the card that I found does not really seem to belong to that A2000 and also not to the A4000 that came together with the A2000. It's a small card, not Zorro-like and it needs to be plugged into something that I'm not familiar with. There's a 68030 and 68882  on it but nothing to add Ram to. It's made in 1992, has the brand Commodore, and seems to be '68020/68030 Board Rev 1.0' for 'A3200/A3400' ...
Is this a turboboard for an A3000 ??? Without Ram modules on it ?? Can this be possible ?? I don't see how to fit it on a A2000 !! Advice needed. What can I do with it ??

In the A4000 D there was a Cyberstorm MK2 68060 card ... still is actually ... but I haven't tried to unplug is to see what is really looks like. The only thing I can put in that A4000 D is air or light. It's really fully packed !!
