I have not been giddy like a school girl about a concert since EVER! I could not believe my ears when I heard the commercial on the radio!! I have pretty easily ignored every Ozzfest so far. Their attraction was weak with for the most part Ozzy being the only attraction worth seeing.

This year I nearly sh*t myself when I heard the lineup!! The radio commercial was a who's who of REAL Metal!! After I cleaned my underpants I checked the OFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR OZZFEST and quickly messed my drawers again;-)

The first stage does not have a single loser, they are all jawdropping good selections! :-o I mean ozzy(of course), Priest WITH HALFORD(!!!), Slayer, Dimmu Bogir, Black Label Society and Superjoint Ritual? Are your freaking kidding me?!? The second stage has a couple of losers but hell even half of those bands are worth seeing! And Slipknot is headlining the second stage!

Actually I cannot remember being so excited for a concert, I am having sensory overload :-o

Is Superjoint Phil Anselmo's main concern now that Pantera's over? I love what I've heard from their album, it would be nice to see them continue.

It sure is! According to ozzfest.com it is his ONLY concern now. I guess that means he dumped Down too :-?

I've heard 3 songs off their latest (2nd) album, 2 of those songs I like ALOT but one of them is terrible. I'll be curious to hear the rest of it.

I went to Ozzfest 98 and found myself bored for half the time I was there.

Black Sabbath, Slayer, Pantera, and half of Entombed's set were the only things that I found really entertaining, and I had to wait for loads of s##t bands to finish up before I got to hear those bands.

Also, Kerrang's DJ was a complete nob :pissed: who attempted to put on a rubbish pop record but was interfered with by some rebelious youths. :-D

Ahhh, I didn't realise they had another record out. I'm pretty sure it's stuff from the first that I've heard.
