I'm sure it's possible. Wasn't there a project some years ago that would make an "Amiga on a PCI card"? You could perhaps use some FPGAs รก la CommodoreOne (see http://c64upgra.de/c-one/ for more info).

But what would the benefit be? Would it be worth it? Don't you think it's time to move on?

That's the one I was talking about! :-)

I really thought that was an interesting idea at the time and I was prepeared to buy one. I waited and I waited. And then I waited some more. But nothing was ever released. The same story as many other "Amiga" products over the past years. :-(

But I'll tell you what - I'm not waiting anymore! :-D
