Miami config problems with amazon.com???
« on: April 05, 2003, 07:23:48 PM »
I've asked on the Aweb, Ibrowse and my user's group mailing list so now I'm asking here.

I've been having trouble accessing amazon.com
with any amiga browser on my 4000T.  I'm using
Miami to dialup.  I can get it to come up in Explorer on my WinXP laptop using the same dialup account.
I have no problems accessing any other web sites on the amiga..yahoo, ebay....none.

I think my ISP uses some peculiar sort of redirection that is confusing my connection.

When I use NetInfo to trace I get large gaps in the path with no IP or host information.  The servers immediately prior to these gaps show errors of 1 or 2 in the err column.  It never finishes the trace...just keeps grinding away trying to nail down the gaps.

Miamiping doesn't get a reply.

I've played with some of my Miami settings but with no improvement.

Any thoughts?

Sincerely,

-- Sprocket...
