If I print out a Commodore logo and stick it on my toaster, does that make it an official Toaster?

Has anyone tried this Scandoubler, is it any good?

Tons of people.  Do a forum search for GBS8200.

IMHO they suck and are a lot more trouble than they're worth.  Just spend your money on an Indivision.  But I guess an external device could be useful for people who have a bunch of Amiga's and other older devices (Commodore 64's, game machines, etc.) that they want to hook up to a modern monitor.

Why would you want to put an A2320 into an external case with blingy blue LED's when it's an internal card, lol.  A2320's were not without their problems either, and were fairly rare.

That's a GBS8200 in the external case, not an A2320.

Yeah, the solution is called the Indivison AGA :)

+1. Man, you folks come up with some terrible ideas, lol. Although that PCIe extender cable is amusing, I imagine timing for an Amiga video card would be a bitch. ;)

Someone on English Amiga Board said that 2 ECS Scandoubler's installed would create a 24 bit output therefore making it AGA compatible. Would do you think? Thanks.

Are you trolling dude?  Pardon my french, but this is effing retarded.  Would you stop listening to crazy people?

What you CAN do with two Indivision ECS's installed is a dual monitor setup.  Google it, there's videos out there.  Only Jens never released the drivers/software to make it happen, so while it can be done "in the lab", normal people can't do it.

Are you trolling? He wasn't talking about the Indivision. What the post on EAB refers to is this, which is essentially two A2320 put on a single board:
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/a2320aga

And I'm supposed to know that he was referring to that from his post, how? If there's already a discussion about this home-brew scandoubler over on the other site, why come over here and post a vague and unclear question? Either way, even if cobbling together two of those somehow gives the ability to display an "AGA-style" screenmode, it's not going to make an ECS Amiga miraculously able to run AGA games or other software. *Sigh* I give up. :furious:
