i wonder how long it would take to sail there? that would be an environmentally friendly way to travel.

this is a similar type of logic to al gores house and vehicals and travel schedule.

to me carbon offsets make little sense. it is basically like saying that if you can afford it and justify it go ahead. well we all can so we all can keep polluting.

If you can afford it, destroy the world.  If you don't want to work, therefore are poor and can't afford it, dont'w worry:  We will bail you out, destroy the world.  If you are the middle class, you will go to jail or die for destroying the world, and everything you do is "destroying the world".
