Hi All,
What do I have to do to use Jpeg images as Workbench backdrops... I certainly remember them working before and also they are not
loading in Multiview? Next, I have lots of IFF images that I enjoy. I am using a 1084 monitor and VT and Visage as viewers. Some
of the images show up fine but others act like they are in a different screen mode and just roll. However I have no problem viewing
these same images in Multiview of Diskmaster 2. Can someone explain this, or tell me what my system is lacking. I as always have
an A1200 with a TF1230 and 64megs of Fast ram.
Thanks for any help.

For Jpegs you certainly need the Datatype installed.
Reg. the IFF issue: some pictures have indeed a screenmode embedded in their file structure (opt in PPaint for instance) , it depends on the viewing app how to handle it, by either using it or find a suitable one or simply ignore the screenmode and use a Workbench window instead.
Try to find the config options for that in e.g. VT.

Thanks, I will do that!

@bradhansen1
3.2 comes with a jpeg datatype. It is probably in SYS:Storage/Datatypes.
Drag it into SYS:Devs/Datatypes and reboot and jegs should work fine.
