Amiga 3000 Locks on any SCSI on boot.

If it works _with_ an accelerator but not without, it's probably clock related.  Have you tried setting the motherboard jumpers back to the default positions after removing the accelerator card?: http://amiga.serveftp.net/a3000_hardwareguide/jumpers.html
