Chaos Engine, Wipeout (a top down public domain shooter, not the racing game of PSX fame. Wish I could find the ADF for this one), Another world, Flashback, Project X, Shepherd (shareware god game by Obbe Vermeij), Sneech (a very well known snake game by Paul Burkey):

and all the Alien Breed games to name but a few.

....damn, how could I forget Worms and Super Stardust and.... and I just realised that this is one of those threads that you will never fully reply to as you'll think of another game as soon as you hit the submit post button. Damn you Lassie you tricked me into this trap of yours. :P

Agony was awesome. I can't believe I missed out Walker and Benefactor too. Benefactor on a 6 foot projector screen is an experience everyone should try btw.
