AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition now shipping!

Just ordered a copy from amigakit for the classic, as a xmas present to myself:)

I dont have a real ppc so it will be for use with WinUAE.
How do you set this up, do I start from a OS3 installation and upgrade to 4.1, or can it be installed from scratch directly to 4.1?
Will I need some additional drivers for the CSPPC emulated board, or will this work out of the box with OS4.1FE?
I have seen a guide somewhere, but I think it was for OS4.0 on WinUAE2.9x. Hopefully there will be an updated guide covering the most recent versions.

You should head over to English Amiga Board. In the Support WinUAE forum there is a guide to setting it up.  The same setup should work regardless of AmigaOS 4.x (Classic) version.

At this price would be rude not to get my blizzard ppc powerd amiga out the loft and see how it runs

Is the recommended a gpu with 128mb of ram ?  Remind me what bvision has ?

BVision has 8MB RAM.  Best option is a PCI bus-board solution and a Radeon 9250 (if it's supported - check the Final Edition FAQ on the CD), however BVision will work OK.

Best to have the maximum 256MB RAM on your Blizzard PPC, but you can get by with less...
