Wow... softcore porn on A.org...

The holier than thou brigade are sure to be out in force over this one (while they secretly view it again and again)...

Neat film by the way and very well made, even though I didn't quite get what it was all about... ;)

That's what I always told the ex-wife about my "Artistic" German DVDs... ;)

I would have called it "A Commodore 64C and a nude redhaired girl" ;)

The blood at the end scene is too dense to be real.
Nice photography though :)

IMDB style GOOFS:

The c64's light doesn't work

You can't plug a cartridge into a C64 when the C64 is on. It can cause the fuse to blow. (I know this from experience)

No disc drive connected but the guy uses the load"$",8,2 command. As he was running from tape he just needs to press shift and runstop

Never used ,2 before, always used the below:

LOAD “FILENAME”,8 - Load a file
LOAD “*”,8 - Load first disk file
LOAD “FILENAME”,8,1 - Load and run file
LOAD “$”,8 - Directory listing

,1 = run... so what does ,2 do?

LOAD "*",8,1 also loads the last program you loaded. So if you typed in LOAD "batman",8,1 then NEW, LOAD "*",8,1 would load batman :)

LOAD ":*",8,1  will force it to load from disk :)

In some 30 years of using a C64 I've never came across the use of "2" when trying to load a file or prog. (only 0 or 1 should really be used with the LOAD command)

Only time "2" comes into the equation that I can think of, is in the use of the OPEN Command/statement...

eg: OPEN 2,8,2

He's also using some sort of a futuristic basic release, has "T"'s of memory.  I suppose the futuristic C64 doesn't have a power light, loads with that command and deals with hot swapping cartridges.

Googled...

http://www.commodoreserver.com/Products.asp

What is V-1541 designed to do?
First, before we talk about what V-1541 cannot do, let's discuss briefly what it was designed to do. V-1541 is a simple program that replaces LOAD and SAVE.  It will still process these commands on standard disk device numbers in the same way.  The only difference is that if you signal to load via device # 2 (the RS-232 port), the LOAD or SAVE will operate on the Internet modem that you have plugged-into your user port.

RS-232 is device #2 by default, but the KERNAL does not allow LOAD and SAVE to work with it in the same way as it does for disks on devices 8-11.  It was then necessary to write a special program to intercept the LOAD and SAVE operations and convert the request to commands known to CommodoreServer.com (the commands are part of the CommodoreServer Internet Protocol, or CSIP - you can find details on CSIP in another blog entry).

Since the KERNAL does not natively support LOAD"FILE",2, V-1541 was born.  Like any memory-resident loader, there are some limitations on how it may operate.

cool video ! maybe we'll see your name on a Blade Runner remake one day:)

btw, the +16 warning is understandable but I think a warning that there is 'nudity' would be wise (for some countries anyhow);)
