Ah, I should have clarified - I was looking at Amigakit's website and there's not an option to purchase the 1200 one.

Indivision AGA 1200 is in stock - if it appears to be sold out, then it's a single reseller who didn't order yet. I have no pending backorders, and I'm pretty sure that my stock won't be sold out too soon.

Jens, do you (or anyone else) have a list of timing modes that the A4000 would output via this Scan doubler ? (Pal machine)

I am trying to see how my LCD Monitor would react to it, Since it only likes NTSC from my Minimig.

Under PAL Minimig, it freaks out and complains about the sync.

If it works with NTSC Minimig, it'll work with Indivision AGA in all standard modes. HighGFX goes a little below the magic 60Hz barrier, but since your monitor supports Vesa 800x600 at 56Hz, there's a chance that you can also use the HighGFX modes. The config tool allows tweaking the number of blank lines, so there's no general list of modes that you can generate with Indivision AGA. The list would just be too long :-)

That explains it - I just got an order from AmigaKit, so they should be shipping fairly soon now. Other orders went out to Vesalia (Germany) and to GGS-Data (Sweden) this week, so the wait (if any) should be short.

Interesting stuff Jens, when i said the monitor Freaks out and complains.., the funny thing is, it DOES actually display the scandoubled PAL minimig, all for about 20 seconds, then I think it realizes something is not quite right, displays 'Out of Range' and shuts the display down.

Enough for me to yell.. "WHY !!!!!!!, You had a picture !!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!"

It could be enough for me to warrant putting my Arxon Doubler for sale and getting a 4000D Indivision.

Then i would have no reason for me NOT to get a Mediator 4000Di.  But at AU$435, .... Hmmmm wife would not speak to me for a while.

Now if that's a loss for you, it's easier for the flickerfixer: Lets you connect low-radiation monitors, better for your eyes, lets you see her beauty (without glasses) for so many more years 8-)

Or is she the type that would go for a pink PCB? Maybe I should do more research on the "secondary target group" of my products :-)

Two questions about the Indivision a4000,

1) How far does it stick off the a4000 mother board is it less than the chip and fast ram?
2) does it have its own vga connector or does it use the existing a4000 monitor output, if so does a person simply use the standard adapter from the a4000 video out to the standard 9pin vga? or will a sync strainer work?

Rossi,

It's very low-profile.  From my eye it looks like most cards in the bottom slot would have clearance.

The Indivision comes with it's own VGA port and a cable to connect to the Indivision.

Yay, It arrived yesterday! It fits very nicely and works fantastic! :-D
By the way it also works perfectly with the Video Toaster and looks fantastic on my 17" LCD monitor.
