Does anyone know what's happened to amigawoeld.net? Seems like it's been down since last night.

A day or two ago, when it was up (in between being down), Siggi posted that they had asked the provider to do a complete checkup (or something), and if that didn't help, they would probably have to migrate to another server.

So at least something is being done.

Best regards,

Niels

This looks like it's going to be one of the longer outages...

I was beginning to prefer EAB anyway. I think we can probably survive with Amiga.org and EAB if we have to! Discord has also proved to be quite fun!  ;D

Each forum has its place. It's never good when one goes down. This place is a shadow of it's former self since the long outage. And that was one we knew was coming.

The Vale of Shadows is a dimension that is a dark reflection or echo of our world. It is a place of decay and death. A plane out of phase. A place of monsters.

I hope amigaworld not gone, even though it a small community I do like amigaworld most out of all the forums. Hope it’s back soon.

I feel I should post something. Not sure what. I have been off AW.net a long time as I had enough so posted a rude pic and put the words "please delete my account". Matthew was less emotional in his response and banned me for like 4 years instead. I am more adjusted in my approach now and am likely "safe" to post again when the ban runs out in just over a year's time. on here - wow its been even longer. Still running some A1200s - recapping some and selling them on (usually at a loss), and still have a couple of A1000s to do something with one day. Hello. Come back Aw.net - although I was banned I would check in for the latest fairly reguarly.

Edit: looks like amigaworld.net is back online.

@a1200

I thought your account had been hacked- I am sure I sent you a message at the time asking if your account was compromised.   Due to it's longevity the account was suspended rather than deactivated until I heard back from you.

I think it's about to go down again. The last page I viewed was somewhat corrupted and then it began to time out.

No I was bored and disillusioned at the time Matthew. Self distruct seemed more dramatic than not posting for a while. I don't recall getting a message at the time so must have been lost in the depths of cyberspace.
