Hyperspeed Posts:1749 | May 08, 2006, 10:29:56 PM An interesting add-on I saw lately was a 'Mouse Master'. Basically by plugging this in you can switch between 2x joysticks or a mouse (it fills both 9-pin ports). The other switchers just took 1-player in mind but not for both pads. They're on eBay now and would be great for playing games or using a combo of mouse/CD32 pad at events/parties! |

leirbag28 Posts:1793 | May 04, 2006, 11:40:51 PM Yes....and I can fit alot more into it believe it or not..including a 68030 processor wwith RAM if it were made the right shape. I also have 2 fans inside currently and the A600 Clockport adaptor......the CDTV ROMS are image files on the Harddrive............I cant wait to get this CDROM working with AsimCDFS...WooHoo! Karaoke....here I come! |
Matt_H Posts:6411 | May 02, 2006, 05:39:54 AM Looks excellent! It's great that everything fits into the case. How did you get the CDTV ROMs into an A600? Or Are you using an image file? |
leirbag28 Posts:1793 | April 30, 2006, 02:54:14 AM @ematech I dont know the resolution, but you can look online. this is a Sony Playstation ONE PSONE LCD screen made for the PSONE. It was originally light grey and I sopray painted it black. |

Hyperspeed Posts:1749 | April 28, 2006, 02:03:09 AM They say '8' is a lucky number in Hong Kong and people pay a small fortune for anything with '8' on it. Maybe you could overclock the 68000 and sell it to a wealthy Chinese businessman-hacker! ;-) For pose value you could even have an LED display with []¯|... (Mhz) :-D  |
Amiduffer Posts:1601 | April 28, 2006, 01:42:08 AM Stayin alive, staying alive! Ah ah ah ah, Stayiinnn aliiiiiiiiiive, whoooo. Awsome! Great job Gabe! It's amazing what someone can do with 7mhz technology. |
leirbag28 Posts:1793 | April 27, 2006, 11:20:25 PM @Hyperspeed Yes indeed! I have already tried to attach it to the CD32 :-D..it would fit perfectly and even clode perfect over the CD32's CDROM lid........I just need somewhere or something to do with the base of the PSONE LCD screen.....I already thought to make a base to flatten it out of hard black Styrofoam and then paint it grey and attach it. But I prefer to do it to an A1200 as its more of an all in One unit and has the keyboard integrated. I want to be able to Take it to Coffee shops such as StarBucks :-D Now I can with the A600.........to listen to MP3's and show my friends pictures with the DCTV, as well as play games while we sip coffee...... the CPU is 68000 7mhz 2mb Chip, 4,1 gig HD (good enough for DJ-ing live if you have a mini Mixer for the 3 outputs I have (MP3, Amiga's 8bit RCA out....and CDROM OUT) Im awaiting HPPacito's new processor line :-).......if worse comes to worse, I can remove the floppy.and drill another hole in the back to move the CDROM to the right side (Still opening towards the back so I dont ruin my Floppy port face) to make room for the Accelerator. But I prefer not to if possible. And indeed I know it is definitely possible to make a work around.which is why I went ahead a did it like this. there is alot of amazing empty spaces in the A600............one right under the Floppy.where you can fit 2 USB ports......another right above the PCMCIA port, where you can make a hole for Compact flash right above the PCMCIA.......and towars the back also...but still the left side..one can fit another USB port or a switch for disabling RAM etc... I already drilled 2 holes there on this machine.....its under where the floppy would be had the floppy been on the left. |
Hyperspeed Posts:1749 | April 27, 2006, 10:59:52 PM That circular PSone screen would fit in pretty well with the CD32 because of the machine's domed lid! I think the Cheetah Bug joystick would go well with the decor (even though I couldn't get along with it) as it was once in an official A600 photo. What CPU does the A600 have? |
tonyvdb Posts:1121 | April 27, 2006, 10:18:59 PM Well thats just "Nifty" :-D Great idea! |
leirbag28 Posts:1793 | April 27, 2006, 09:54:10 PM it is loose.......and removable.....as it actually belongs with my CD32/SX32 VJ gear that has Triple LCD screens.....for a portable Editing system. All 3 screens are Sony LCD's I got on sale...I purchased about 5 :-) |
odin Posts:6796 | April 27, 2006, 07:13:49 PM Neat! Did you glue the PS1 LCD screen on? Or is it loose? |
