| Amiga 500 AdIDE2 with Novia kit | ||

Description: I installed a ICD AdIDE2 with Novia kit. The HD is a 128MB 2.5" HD from a A1200. This autoboots and runs fine but needs more than 1MB to be usable. Installed is a Baseboard 4MB to assist.

| August 27, 2005, 09:14:43 AM I did the same thing to my Amiga 500, but I removed the disk drive and installed a 3.5" hard drive in its place. I also installed a Shuffleboard and a 4 meg board. Df0: is now the first external disk drive. I am thinking about taking out the hard drive and putting in its place a CF to IDE adaptor with a 1 GB CF card installed, no moving parts and very quite. :-D |
