Connecting Amiga to All-In-One PC
« on: August 11, 2013, 06:08:59 PM »
Hi everyone!

I need opinion for what would be the best way to connect old non-flickerfixer equipped Amiga to my everyday pc;

The purpose for this, is that I like to tinker around with old hardware, but I need good screen for this. I don't want to drag my old RGB 1084S on the table, so I'm asking, what is my options with this?

I already managed to connect Amiga using A520mod to Video input port. Picture isn't as I prefer it to be. This machine have TV-antenna input, but regrettably no SCART.
I'm thinking, will these SCART-to-HDMI adapter boxes work?

Or am I stuck with TV-mod?

Hyvä Arttu, osta Amigakitistä oikeanlainen SCART kaapeli ja kytke se ihan tavalliseen lituska TV:hen, saat hyvän välkkymättömän 640x512 kuvan.

Moi!

Kylläpä porukka kävi kuumana kun suomeksi vastasit, huh! ;) Well, thanks anyway for reply. It was really very nice of you.

I actually have made myself one quality SCART cable and I do have enough flat Tv's for that. THE problem of current situation is that I DON'T want any TV's or old RGB monitors on my crowded table. I do have Amiga w/ Indivision AGA in it, so that's no prob either. What I'm really after is really nice quality picture solution with given equipment. I mean, when I dig out ANY Amiga -model I like to play with, I need it to be able to connect to this PC marvel. ;)

Actually,

You could get one of the RGB to Svideo converters, it should give you good picture quality. On the bottom of his page.

I need to try something like this, but would be very tempting to order other of his nice stuff... Thank you guys!

Or maybe this;

Revenir sur le sujet?

Not sure about that one, but I have one of these and it works beautifully on HDMI:

Anyway, it's cool so many people responded to this, but even more astonishing is this hot reaction about native language use. Understanably so many are against use of native language.
