Boy someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed...
If you're 'retro' then you have an old printer too.   Besides, who knows if some dependency, when updated, broke printer.device which mandated some fixing...

Can't release software that fixes some things while breaking others.

As for sales of OS 3.5/3.9 - who is profiting and is any of that money being re-invested?

I have a rom burner ... now if some enterprising Amigan could create a custom 3.1.4 CD32 rom file...I just might buy the 1200 version...
I could be wrong but did the CD32 use 2 512k ROM chips?  Perhaps only the first one would need to be custom...
