Title: !200 out of range message on Flat panel
Post by: Xanaa on November 06, 2008, 02:36:06 AM
Hi,
I picked up a 1200  and finaly got a 500 power supply that works now. ( had some bad caps in power supply)
When I turn on computer I get out of range message on flat panel with the Commodore adapter from RGB to 15 pin adapter but if I use the 1084 everything works good.
Any ideas on this?
Thanks

Hi Xanaa,

The C= RGB to 15 pin adapter is just a gender changer.  The only way you will get a picture on the LCD screen with this adapter is in workbench using the VGA monitor driver.  But again only in workbench will you see an image, games and early startup up menus will not display anything.

You will need a scandoubler or visit Red's store for an IndiVision AGA, or Amigakit.

Or, if your panel is 15kHz-able, you are using a 50Hz vertical refresh (PAL screen) with a LCD who does not support it.
