Thylacine USB controller
« on: April 24, 2022, 12:44:14 AM »
Hello

I have little problem with Sirion USB stack. Mouse / Keyboard works OK, but I can’t get usb sticks to visible to OS.

I have also tried to Poseidon USB stack and everything works OK with it, but I like more Sirions’s lightweight way. One problem with both stack but mostly with Poseidon is that cold boot OS freezes when USB is starting. Reboot and everything is OK. I can live with that.

USB stick is noticed and it is visible in Inspectror. Tried several different size sticks. I do have a fat95 in SYS:L

Here log

OS4 for classic support is down but you might get some info using internet archive and this URL : http://www.hd-zone.com/amigaos-4-1-classic/

or on hyperion forums...

This is with OS3.9, not a OS4. Sirion was first made for a 68k CPUs and it is native USB stack for a Thylacine USB card.

Checked there is only few mentions about a Thylacine works with Poseidon.

I have 2 Thylacine Mini controllers that work with generic USB ports well using Poseidon. The one time I tested with the original software, it worked well, just not as elegant as with Poseidon
