Beginning BSD
« on: October 23, 2002, 08:00:15 AM »
I'm taking an old computer that's been just laying around and decide to put it to use as a server. I'm planning to install FreeBSD on it. Any knowledgable BSD users out there have an suggestions for someone just starting to learn about BSD? I'm looking for a good introduction to how it works and how the system files are laid out. Mainly it's going to be a mail and webserver, if that helps.

Just go to the FreeBSD site, and they have tons of links for beginners.

Or, just hit your local User group meeting....
